Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak visited the Republic of Armenia in the period from 30 to 31 August 2017. This was the first official visit of a BiH official to Armenia since the diplomatic relations had been established between the two countries twenty years ago.
In Erevan Minister Crnadak met the President Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan and Chairman of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan.
During the meeting was agreed that relations between the two countries are amicable and unburdened by open issues, and a commitment was reiterated to reinforce those relations through strengthening of the political dialogue, development of parliamentary cooperation and economic relations.
During this visit the Agreement on Visa-Free Regime for the Diplomatic Passports Holders of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia was signed between the BiH Council of Ministers and the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
Minister Nalbandyan accepted invitation to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit is expected by the end of the current year.
