Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.parlamentbih.gov.ba) is the supreme legislative authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Parliamentary Assembly is composed of two houses: the House of Peoples and the House of Representatives.
• The House of Representatives is made of 42 representatives elected by direct vote: 14 Bosniaks and 14 Croats on behalf of the Federation BiH, and 14 Serbs on behalf of Republika Srpska.
Members of the House of Representatives College:
• The House of Peoples is made of 15 representatives, of whom one third arrives from Republika Srpska, and two-thirds from the Federation BiH.
Members of the House of Peoples College:
The representatives’ term of office lasts four years.
In addition to the state level, similar authority structure (parliament, president and government) exists also in the Federation BiH and Republika Srpska, including District Brčko BiH.
